For objects - the rule of thumb is to aim for 800 poly or less per tile that the object takes up. The Darker green is not a problem file as far as I know and the lighter green one just lets you know the file is from a third party.

File analysis may take a little bit longer. They must all be together in order for the program to work properly. DISCLAIMER: I did not create this program nor did I have any involvement in helping to create it, therefore I do not know how the internal factors in said program work.

This video was only made to show you how I personally use this program, which is very basic. Please do feel free to ask any questions you may have about it, just know that I probably will not be able to help if the issue goes beyond what I've shown you in this video. Download and use at your own risk. Mc command center says I have broken cc, I use mod conflict detector and it doesn't find it.

So yeah, mod conflict detector doesn't really fix much sadly 5 months ago Ahh, so they weren't very helpful. When dealing with CC it's so tricky, when you first download it you have to keep it separate and test it before adding it to the rest of your other CC. Once it's been added it's nearly impossible to find it and fix it. I was in such a shitty predicament. Game needed to be updated, and I spent the night downloading cc, and mods for it!

Then I tried removing cc little by little to find the culprit. Nope, stayed stuck on the loading screen. The Sponsored Listings displayed above are served automatically by a third party. Privacy Policy 9 months ago I think i have somethig to you try. In the MTS link download the three links. In one says: ModConflictDetector9063. Double click and Done. Choose your Mods carpet and You can see your files. Maybe you can try restoring from a save point through Windows, if that's what you use. And in the future periodically back up your game files somewhere else, and always keep an extra mods back up. I hope you get this sorted, I'd hate to have you start all over but these things do happen.

I'm sure you've already thought of this, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. I've heard others imply that the newer one, upon download overwrites the older one, I've not heard of the opposite happening though lol. You can't get to the download link? I'd recommend the older version anyway, but even with bad CC in your game that may cause it not to load, you can always just take out all your mods and check to see if that works, then slowly add back in the CC to find the problem.

Takes longer, and is extremely annoying.. I removed the files that were causing problems in the game but for some reason my game when I load it is still stuck at the sims 4 loading screen. It can't be a mods or cc issue because I deleted the problem according to mod detector. My computer also has enough space for the cc and mods about 100 gigs left.

So tbh I'm so confused on what's going on Year ago Have you removed your Mods folder temporarily to see if the game will load without it? If it does load up normally, the MCD might not of picked up on something that needed to be updated and that could be causing your problem.

The first thing to always try when having those issues is to test the game without any mods in it. After establishing if that's the problem, then slowly add back in your CC and test it.

I know the reason we all want to use the MCD is so this type of thing doesn't happen, it's terribly time consuming to go through CC one at a time, but it's still sometimes necessary. But this looks interesting, if you're adventurous : Run the V1 version through help.

I have never had a Mac nor do I personally know anyone that uses one, but this option is said to work. There are pretty good instructions on the site about how to use the VB, let me know if you try it and how it works out for you! And in the meantime, lets hope someone will finally make a Version of MD for you guys too! You have to make an account, it's free to register, but once you have you can download the newest version. Download and install, it's a stand alone application.

Also you can try to lower the game play setting in your game, if you haven't already. Instead of playing on the hightest graphics, lower it, that might help with loading so as not to crash.

Most body meshes are in the 2000-3500 range on poly count. Extra details or alpha additions tend to make the count a bit higher. Hair is also usually in about that same range. For objects - the rule of thumb is to aim for 800 poly or less per tile that the object takes up. But again - that can vary depending on the detail of the object. Comparing to several similar Maxis meshes is another way to see if your counts seem in line with 'normal'. If you don't already have Tray Importer, I would highly recommend it.

You can use it to check what is on your Sims, clothing wise plus in the lot. You can use it to get rid of unwanted CC as well, it is quite handy. I'd do the same thing I suggested before. Remove all CC from your Mods Folder and test to see if the game and that household will load properly, if it does then you know for sure it is a CC issue and then go about trying to figure out what CC is the problem. Were you trying to open it through a previously saved shortcut or something?

That's what I did. I still have both on my computer, just in different folders and open which ever. What problems are you having with the new one from MTS site? Is it not opening at all after you unzip it and try and run the. I've said before, I wish I could help more in the cases where people can't get it to work but it's always at least opened for me. The only thing I can think of if it won't do that, is there is a conflict issue with your computer and the program.

Either using it for a Mac when it's only for windows or as someone else found out, if your. NET frame work isn't up to date then that will cause an issue as well. Sorry for asking but could you possibly clean out my mods folder?? I have a mac and there's a broken cc package in my cc folder. This is the third time already and I really don't feel like cleaning it out again.

Year ago +9 God this is just awful. I recently had to factory reset my pc. All my CC is really really organized. I have folders in folders. For whatever reason it cannot scan all my folders like the older version. I cannot even go back to the old one. When I try to download the older version... Year ago +2 me too. Performance has improved and doesn't take 24 hours to scan the 12,000+ package files I have.

Funny enough I just spent two days scanning to wake up to my computer turned off this morning. I'm already a quarter of the way done after restarting it 5 minutes ago, since updating. So far this is definitely an improvement.

If all else fails try and only scan a few mods at a time and see if it still freezes, maybe it's an issue with size overload. Helps loading and stuff. Save that sim to your library.

Open the program and find the Sim you've saved... If you have a suspicion about something, like it was working before your last few items you downloaded, I'd focus on those.. I really wish you luck, going through CC like that is no fun at all! For the future, I'd keep a separate folder in your mods to check the CC you download to see if it's broken before adding it to the rest of your mods.

Maybe they need to be updated. It sounds like that must be whats going on, I'd run the game without CC and only the mods to see if it will load then, if it does then it's a broken piece of CC and not an outdated mod.

In that case, the program must not of detected it and you'd have to go through in batches putting in a few CC at a time to check for the problem. I hope that's not the case, an out dated mod is much easier to find. I haven't ran across this issue, I haven't disabled mods from within the program, I just remove them to like my desktop or another folder if I don't want to use them at the moment. Have you tried taking them out of of your Mods folder when scanning, if you know that they are okay and work in your game, then just put them back in when you want to play with them.

I watched an other ytber cuz u don't show how to download it either, and that ytber didn't show the whole process either?! It's a stand alone program. Once you have downloaded it, you unzip it into a folder. There should be 8 items in that folder, one of which is an.

That's what you click, the. When extracting, it typically does suggest putting in in a named folder and usually gives you the option of a folder named the same as the. I'm going to be putting together a tips for CC organization video soon. Just showing how I go from downloading and then renaming.. Good luck and happy simming! Far as I know, light green isn't a bad thing.

But with such a little amount of CC I'd think you wouldn't have terrible lagging issues. Maybe a mod is out of date, due to recent updates? Do you use like MCC or WW? Cause I know both of those are updated a lot and you should always check regularly for updates on game changing mods. Other wise, I'd not suggest you go and delete all the items that got highlighted, but there are a few things you can do for lagging. Maybe look into merging as well. Sounds like there just might be one or two specific mods that are out of date, to me, but of course I can't be sure.

Test them by running your game cc free, then add a few at a time that you aren't sure about and see how the game runs. It's a pain in the but, but better than just deleting everything. Long story short sorry , NO it will not delete both unless you want to delete both. Just make sure to scroll over to the right of the screen to see the location. The Darker green is not a problem file as far as I know and the lighter green one just lets you know the file is from a third party.

I haven't had problems with either of these files, are you having issues with your game with only these types of files highlighed or do you have other files like duplicates or game changing mods that need to be updated?

I was going to possibly do a How To on that one, but upon using it, I don't like it. The older one still works for me and is faster and color coded for easier understanding. Just my personal opinion. I think duplicates, just run the risk of slowing your game down maybe, more so than crashing it...

I've pulled out all the highlighted items before and it ran the same as with them in my game, so that's why I say it's not always right when it tells you it's a conflict - or maybe it is a conflict but it doesn't really effect the game much. I still get weird conflict readings on some files that I know are fine, if that's the case, again just ignore those as long as your game is okay.

I really have no idea or suggestions other the ones I've listed in the trouble shooting tips in the discription. The ones I usually hear about are that it's not for the type of computer you are using or maybe you haven't updated windows lately. There is a feature to let you find duplicate file types. But as far as finding say, Sims 3 files or something, it won't do that. Maybe an option to look into if that's what you'd like to try though. Load it up, see if it works.

If you have that many files it may be one OR more items making your game crash. I would just search for the script mods you have now, to see if there have been updates to them, or not use them until you have went through your regular custom content items first to see if it's those that are the problem. I know you don't want to hear that, no Sims player does, that has collected mass amounts of CC : I've had to do it too, it's the worst.

I'm lost on how to find this CC. This error almost always happens as a result of bad or outdated mods or cc but sometimes more information can be gathered from its details! In the troubleshooting documentation on tumblr help section, there is suggestions on how to track- down bad or outdated custom content.

I guess this thing couldn't find the bad CC I have? I've added some Trouble Shooting Tips to the information box as well. Really I don't know how else to help if once you've downloaded the program and extracted the files, the. It sounds like a computer issue though, not an issue with the program itself.

I didn't know there was a different version out so I just downloaded that one myself and I have windows 10 and it's working fine just like the other one. In the discription it was said to accommodate Operating system: Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.

I really have no idea why it will not open the application file for you, so weird.
